Altergie is resoluted to accelerate the energy transition to more sustainable supply modes by implementing alternative energy solutions.
Our philosophy is to use solar energy as a vector of sustainable development in local communities.
Altergie core business is to develop and operate sun power facilities in France mostly at utility scale
Our activities started in 2009 in the French overseas departments and territories with a pool of private investors. In 2015, after the commissioning of three sun power facilities in Belvezet (Gard) accounting for more than 20 MWc, shareholders divested their interests due to a growing concentration in the sun power sector. Part of the company’s assets both in operating and development phases are retained by the founding chairman another part is sold out.
Altergie Développement is now a fully independent and private firm owned and controlled by its president.
We are dedicated to continuously acting in total transparency earning the trust and respect of all our stakeholders and partners.
Our team shares a genuine passion and enthusiasm for sun power energies which
enable us to find solutions to address the constraint they face.
We select thoroughly our projects in order to bring them to a successful end under the best possible conditions.
Share our skills and transfer our values is daily at the heart of our concerns.
Provide to consumers a green, reliable and cost effective electricity.
Address the challenge of combining sun power outputs and agriculture production simultaneously and on the same plot through the application of state of the art agrivoltaic systems.
Double our current portfolio of 100 MWc of sun power facilities in development phase.
